The Capture Controls Toolbar is an optional overlay for the Live Aware Desktop Recorder that gives you quick access to essential controls during recordings and livestreams.

Key Features

  • Microphone Control: Mute or unmute your microphone with a single click. A waveform display provides visual feedback of your mic status.

  • Stop Capture: A prominent stop button allows you to immediately end your recording or livestream.

  • Quick Slice: Mark important moments in your video for easy review later.

  • Minimize/Hide Toolbar: Minimize the toolbar for a compact view or hide it entirely to eliminate distractions.. The toolbar can also be toggled on or off in Advanced Settings.

  • Capture Duration: A real-time display shows how long you have been recording.

  • Repositionable: Drag and drop the toolbar to place it anywhere on your screen.

How to Enable It

The Capture Controls Toolbar is only available in the Live Aware Desktop Recorder for Windows. To enable it:

  1. Click Advanced Settings

  2. Enable the checkbox next to Capture Controls Toolbar.
